This role entails:
Assisting the Practice Secretary with administrative duties to include typing correspondence, letters, minutes, reports, valuations, final accounts, trade contacts, preliminaries, specifications and spreadsheets, binding of documents, photocopying, answering the telephone, transferring calls, message taking and purchasing of office refreshments.
Assisting the Marketing Co-ordinator with fee proposals, compiling Practice Profiles for submissions / pre-qualification questionnaires / tender responses.
We are looking for a hard-working, positive and enthusiastic individual, keen to work. They must have a flexible approach with great telephone and general communication skills, a good working knowledge of MS Office and good typing speeds. The ability to use their own initiative is helpful as is the requirement to be articulate and be able to demonstrate discretion.
This post would suit someone who is well presented, willing to learn and develop knowledge and skills that are specific to the Quantity Surveying industry.
The ideal candidate will need to live locally, be friendly and easily able to communicate with Clients during telephone calls and face to face.
The position might be suitable for part time (hours negotiable).
Requirements: A minimum of 5 GCSE or equivalent include English and Maths to grade 7 or higher.
