Caffe Bambino owner, Majid Pour, always wanted to own and run a coffee shop and create a place where people could feel at home.
He certainly succeeded with this long-running independent Caterham Valley favourite, which serves customers at breakfast, brunch and lunch.
Popular dishes include his homemade soups, panini melts, hot lunches such as spaghetti carbonara and chilli con carne with rice, freshly made fruit smoothies and, of course, coffee and cake.
Enjoy a catch up with friends, coffee with the daily papers or just escape the office on your lunch break.
Visit on the right day, and you may even be able to pick up some local Caterham honey to take home with you.
Majid chose Caterham as he felt that it represented both the end of the city and the start of the countryside.
