Family Treasure Trail
Explore Caterham Valley this Summer with our
new town Treasure Trail – now up and running
How many fascinating facts will you unearth as you explore the heart of Caterham town centre?
Stuck for something to do during the long school holidays? Struggling to get your children away from screens? Or simply curious to find out more about your local area? Then why not head into Caterham and have a go at the free Caterham Valley for You Treasure Trail.
Participants must seek high and low if they are to spot the answers to the 18+ questions and be in with a chance of winning one of two £25 gift vouchers.
Starting in Harestone Valley Road, the free Treasure Trail takes in a number of the town’s most famous landmarks, as well as some of its newer additions, as you journey along Croydon and Godstone Roads and Church Walk Shopping Centre in search of clues.
Trail sheets are available from multiple distribution points across the town, including Caterham Valley Library, the Post Office, Clarks and Lorimers. The competition runs until 10 September.
Completed forms can be returned to special posting boxes at Clarks (Monday-Sunday) and Lorimers (Monday-Saturday).
The trail not only enables you and your family to stay active but also offers a chance to experience the many independent retailers and eateries in the area, as well as the big-name outlets too. Morrison’s offers three hours of free parking which gives you enough time to enjoy the trail and treat yourself to some well-deserved refreshments.
