On Thursday last week, we kicked off our series of Marketing Workshops. The workshops are designed to facilitate business growth by offering marketing expertise in key areas and enabling local businesses to come together to share ideas. Representatives from levy-paying businesses are invited to join these workshops.
Hosted by Your Marketing Team at The Workary, our first workshop aimed to cover the fundamentals of Marketing and how it plays an integral part in achieving business objectives. We were walked through a five-step guide on how to put together an effective marketing strategy – taking a closer look at reviewing current marketing activity, identifying target audiences and where to find them, and leading on to how we reach them.
We welcomed guests from Kenley Financial Ltd, The Beach, Matthew Hill Furniture, Caterham Digital & Post Office and Huntley Cartwright. The diversity across industry-type led to some engaging discussions as attendees were able to offer fresh insight into each other’s businesses.
Steve Aish, Director of Kenley Financial Ltd commented:
“I found the workshop very useful. The round the table style discussions are useful to get different perspectives from other businesses.”
Our next workshops will delve deeper into how to effectively implement the various tools of marketing, including Social Media, Digital Marketing and PR. More details will be sent in the coming weeks.
Thank you to all those who attended our inaugural Workshop and to The Workary for hosting the event.
